In preparing St James’s pupils to become global citizens we recognise the importance of developing their understanding of the world in which they live, including countries and cultures from around the globe. Here are just a few of the recent international learning opportunities pupils have taken part in.

Luwero Community Projects - Uganda

Our commitment to making a difference extends beyond our local parish. We have forged a strong relationship with the Luwero Community Project in Uganda, a charity that promotes education and community development in the Kiryanyonza region. Our pupils have had the privilege of meeting Bishop Gabriel, who oversees the project, and have begun to understand the challenges faced by children in Uganda who do not have automatic access to education. We are proud to sponsor children at the Luwero Primary School, ensuring that they can receive the same quality of education that our pupils enjoy.
