Computing

Let your light shine in computing

Computing teaching at St James’s CE Primary School aims to build creative thinkers who are able to communicate online and be positive contributors.  We want our children to develop skills in programming and computational thinking to allow them to meet the challenges of the future and the ever-changing digital workplace. Pupils develop understanding of the ‘Three Pillars of Progression’ covering the strands of: Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy, following a clear path of progression across the year groups.   As a result, pupils become equipped with the technological knowledge required to understand the uses and implications of computers, today and for future endeavours.
