Geography
Geography teaching at St James’s CE Primary School is about developing an understanding of our world through experiences, investigations and learning from primary and secondary sources. A high-quality geography education should inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Not only this, we strive to give children an insight on understanding international matters, multicultural concerns and environmental matters. The Geography curriculum at St James’s aims to equip pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes enabling children to develop lifelong skills to not only meet, but overcome the challenges of the future.
