We strongly disagree...!

This week our School Council visited the Dudley Council Chambers to take part in a live debate! Schools from across the Dudley borough gathered to put forward motions and argue for or against them. St James's opposed the following motion: 'this house believes that children in primary schools should only be allowed on the internet at weekends'. The pupils displayed our school value of respect well, as they listened carefully to the views of others and were respectful in how they chose to respond.

'It was interesting to see where councillors meet to debate decisions,' Year 6 child.

'I was happy I was chosen to make a comment about another debate that we watched,' Year 2 child.
